- As you can see below, Vickie L. Milazzo, RN, MSN, JD, known as "The Pioneer of Legal Nurse Consulting" continues to gain both local and national recognition. She provides outstanding training and mentorship for thousands of CLNCs, but we are most thankful for the high professional standards she has established for the legal nurse consulting community. Thank you Vickie.
- October 9, 2004: Ms. Milazzo was selected from thousands of nurses in the South Central Region to receive the 2004 Nursing Excellence Award for advancing the profession of nursing. Vickie's achievement was celebrated at NurseWeek's gala ceremony in October. NurseWeek's print publications and nursing website reach over 800,000 nurses.
- October 22, 2004: Vickie L. Milazzo, RN, MSN, JD was named "Mentor of the Year" at the 2004 STEVIE AWARDS for Women Entrepreneurs. Bill Rancic, "The Donald's" Apprentice of reality TV fame, and spokesman for Advanta Bank Corporation, who sponsored the national award, saluted Ms. Milazzo as a fellow successful entrepreneur. Vickie Milazzo pioneered legal nurse consulting in 1982 and mentors registered nurses to become entrepreneurs as Certified Legal Nurse Consultants.
- January 6, 2005: Inc Magazine names Vicke Milazzo to 2004 Top 10 Entrepreneur List. Vickie was recognized for inventing a new nursing profession, ". . . that turns traditional hospital RNs into entrepreneurs." She was one of thousands of nominees from throughout the United States in Inc. Magazine's "Entrepreneur of the Year" competition. Hundreds of testimonials were received by Inc. during the competition and can be reviewed on their website.
